Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 11, 2026. The short version: we cannot leak what we never keep.
Text you scan
Text submitted to the detector is transmitted over an encrypted connection, processed in memory to produce a score, and discarded. It is not written to a database, not used to train models, and not readable by anyone after the response is returned. There is no scan history because there is nowhere a history could live.
What we do process
To run the free service fairly, the infrastructure applies a daily fair-use limit keyed to a one-way cryptographic hash derived from your IP address. The raw address is not stored with any scan content, and the hash cannot be reversed into your address. Standard web server logs (status codes, paths, timestamps) exist transiently for operations and security.
Cookies and tracking
The site sets no advertising or analytics cookies and embeds no third-party trackers, pixels or fonts from tracking CDNs. There is no account system, so there is nothing to log into and no profile to build.
Third parties
Scans are processed on our infrastructure providers’ systems under the same no-retention design described above. We do not sell, share or transfer any user content to third parties, because we do not retain any.
Children
The service is a text analysis utility and collects no personal information from anyone, including children. School-age users should also read our guidance for students on false positives.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes, the date above changes with it, and material changes will be noted plainly rather than buried. Questions go through the contact page.
